Workshop complete!

Aftet a few weeks my workshop in our new house is finally done! The walls are painted, I put up 2 desks (one for modelling and one for painting) and unpacked all my tools and paints. Check it out!

Putting together the Hobbyzone organizers took the longest. They're made of MDF and go together with clamps and wood glue, like this:

I let the clamps sit for at least 7 hours, so the process was glue, clamp, wait... glue, clamp, wait... and so on. Once those were done I assembled the Ikea Kallax bookshelf and all the drawer inserts. It makes a great room divider, so my workshop is on one side and the guest bedroom is on the other. Here's how it looks from my workshop side:

I really love how the Hobbyzone organizers look! Hopefully this will help me keep my work area more organized.

Here's what the drawers look like inside. I love that they have a little window that lets you see what's inside. It eliminates the need for drawer labels.

All the units have a back, so the drawers don't push all the way through.

The only thing left now is to mount our old TV to the wall, but that can wait. The next update should be progress on the Psycho Zaku, which has been in its box for a few months. Now that we're done with house hunting, buying and painting walls (we still have one more room left!) I should have some more free time to go back to working on Gunpla modelling. I've managed to snap up a bunch of HG kits that need painting so once the big Zaku project is done I hope to be able to get a bunch of painting done. Until next time, keep building!
